We’ve put together step-by-step instructions on how eSafeguarding works to allow for a seamless, stress-free experience.
Step 1
Create an application on the system by adding the applicant to your account and selecting the level of check needed, then add the applicant’s email address, internal references and other information as required.
Step 2
The application is then sent to the applicant via a link to their email address.
Step 3
The applicant will then follow the steps on the form to fill out all their details and complete disclosure.
Step 4
The application is then sent back to you to verify the applicant’s ID documents, or sent to the team here at eSafeguarding if you decide the use our ID checking service.
Step 5
Once all ID documents have been verified, the application is sent to the DBS to be processed.
Step 6
You will receive email notifications throughout the process, updating you on the status of the application.
Step 7
Once processed, the applicant will receive their full DBS check in the post and you will receive a summary, stating if any relevant information was found or if the DBS check was clear.
